Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Community Medical Clinic

Samantha Burton, known by many as Sam, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Aurora University. While not originally from Pana, she has called the area home since 2020 and has developed strong ties within the community. Her dedication to serving Pana and its surrounding areas is evident in her compassionate and personalized approach to care.

Sam brings a diverse background in domestic violence advocacy, behavioral and mental health, and hospice care. At Pana Community Hospital, she has played a key role in launching several community support initiatives, including a teen grief group in the summer of 2023, an open-access grief group, and a caregiver support group.

Now offering mental health therapy at the Community Medical Clinic, Sam provides diagnostic assessments, individualized treatment plans, and supportive counseling for individuals ages 16 and older. Her focus is on helping patients achieve emotional wellness while empowering them to take an active role in their healing journey.

Sam is proud to continue providing meaningful care and support to the Pana community.
