Pana Community Hospital Foundation Scholarship

The Pana Community Hospital Foundation established a scholarship fund to support graduating high school seniors who are pursuing a career in a medical-related field. Eligible students must attend a school within the hospital’s service area, including Pana, Nokomis, A & M, Ramsey, or Cowden-Herrick. This year, ten local students applied for the scholarship.

As the largest employer in the area with more than 320 employees, Pana Community Hospital provides a wide range of career opportunities and contributes significantly to the local economy. The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage talented students to return to their hometowns and consider a fulfilling career at their local hospital.

By investing in education and career development, the Pana Community Hospital Foundation Board of Directors believes this program helps build a stronger, more skilled workforce that benefits both individuals and the community. The Board determines the number of scholarships awarded, the amounts, and the terms and conditions each year.
