Cindy has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2001 and is honored to care for patients in our community. She began her career at Taylorville Family Care, where she served for five years before becoming an independent FNP and opening her own clinic in Cowden in 2006. She proudly operated that clinic until 2022, when it became part of Pana Community Hospital’s network of Rural Health Clinics.
Today, she continues to serve patients at Cowden Medical Group four days a week, while also managing the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
On a personal note, she was widowed in 2021 and has a son, Douglas, who lives in Texas with his wife, Tori. They are expecting a daughter in November 2025—her first grandchild—and she is thrilled to soon become a grandma.
