Responsibilities:

As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will assess patients' respiratory conditions by reviewing medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.  This individual will respond to emergent and critical situations which may include assisting in airway management and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.  Additional responsibilities will include pulmonary function testing, cardiac stress testing, and holter monitor administration.

 

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher in respiratory therapy from an accredited program.
  • A valid Illinois state license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), such as the Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
  • Current CPR and ACLS certifications or willingness to obtain
