Description:
Operate the transport van safely and efficiently, ensuring timely arrival at destinations. Assess patient needs to ensure transportation is appropriate. Provide safe and comfortable transport to medical facilities, diagnostic centers, homes, or other approved locations. Serve as an ambassador for Pana Community Hospital by maintaining a positive and professional attitude while assisting patients. Perform routine vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure operational readiness. Maintain a neat and orderly work environment.
Requirements::

Valid Illinois driver's license in the State of Illinois

Must be 21 years old and have a safe driving record.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly. Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 2 hours at a time). Sufficient visual and auditory acuity for patient interaction and safe vehicle operation. Ability to push, pull, and lift occupied wheelchairs. Ability to navigate ramps and maintain balance on uneven surfaces.
