Hospital Services
Pana Community Hospital’s Cardiopulmonary Rehab program is designed for patients with certain cardiac or pulmonary problems and strives to improve the quality of our patients’ lives by helping them achieve and maintain their optimum level of health. The program’s focus is to increase the patients’ physical fitness and to alter their risk factor profiles by being goal-oriented and educational, with an emphasis on exercise. Once referred by a physician, patients start a program that is individually tailored to meet their needs based on their strength, motivation, and capabilities.
The Cardiopulmonary Rehab program is located on the campus of Pana Community Hospital in the Rehab/Wellness Center. The program utilizes a wide variety of exercise equipment including treadmills, recumbent bicycles, upper body cycles, stationary bicycles, recumbent elliptical, recumbent cross trainers, wall weights and a multi-station gym.
The Cardiopulmonary Rehab Department is open for outpatient services from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Cardiac Rehab and Pulmonary Rehab orders are accepted from any local or out-of-area physician.
