Benefits
In addition to a competitive salary, Pana Community Hospital also offers an excellent benefits package that is comparable, if not superior, to that of a larger hospital. Depending on your category of employment, you are eligible for the following benefits.
EARNED TIME OFF
PCH employees accrue earned time off based on hours worked and is accrued at a rate based on length of employment. This bank of earned time is used for holidays, illness, vacation or personal days. New full-time employees earn up to 23 days annually (this is prorated for part-time employees). PCH observes six core holidays, which employees may utilize earned time off.
HEALTH/DENTAL/VISION/PRESCRIPTION INSURANCE
Full time PCH employees are eligible to enroll for the group health/dental plan and are then included in the vision plan.
EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT PLAN
The Retirement Plan of Pana Community Hospital is intended to support and assist employees in planning ahead for their retirement years following their years of work. Through this Plan, employees are allowed and encouraged to place some of their earnings aside in an investment plan, while PCH contributes a set percent in matching funds.
TUITION REIMBURSEMENT
Full time employees will be reimbursed up to 80% per course per calendar year with a $1,500 per year limit for approved courses provided by a recognized college, univesity, technical school, or continuing education course.
LIVEWELL FITNESS CENTER
PCH employees have access to the LiveWell Fitness Center, a full-service fitness center located directly behind the hospital’s main campus. All benefits-eligible PCH employees can join at a special rate which can be payroll deducted.
VOLUNTARY BENEFITS
Voluntary benefits are available for all benefit-eligible employees. Some examples of these voluntary benefits are: flex spending account, cancer insurance, and disability insurance.
