Volley for Cure Raises $1,220

The annual Volley for the Cure took place Thursday, October 19 at Pana High School.  Friends, family and fans raised $1,220 for the cause.  Proceeds from the event will benefit Pana Community Hospital Foundation Breast Care Services.

Admission to the game was free with donations being accepted at the door.  Vandalia High School also donated $100 towards the cause.  T-shirts were sold prior to the game to raise additional funds for the event.

Pana Community Hospital Foundation Executive Director Kim Rodgers said:  “We would like to sincerely thank PHS administration, the volleyball coaching staff, the Pana and Vandalia volleyball teams, and everyone who gave generously to Volley for the Cure.”  Pana has hosted Volley for the Cure since 2007.
