Spreading Christmas Cheer

Spreading Christmas Cheer

December 28th, 2021

The staff of Pana Community Hospital, Quad County Home Health, Community Medical Clinic, and Pana Medical Group is spreading Christmas cheer to local nursing homes this Christmas season.  Gifts were delivered to Heritage Health and Prairie Rose Healthcare on
December 21 and 22.

Monetary donations were collected from the hospital, Quad County, and physician clinics to help supply gifts for the angel trees at local nursing homes. Prairie Rose Healthcare Center and Heritage Health supplied the hospital with residents’ wish lists.  After collecting donations for the gifts, staff at Pana Medical Group purchased gifts from the wish list of each resident.  PMG staff also wrapped each gift and delivered the gifts to the nursing homes.  Due to COVID restrictions, packages were delivered to the front door of each facility and distributed to the residents by nursing home staff.

This is the second year that the hospital, Quad County, and physician clinics took part in this event.  “We here at Heritage Health truly appreciate our partners in care for all their help in bringing extra joy to our residents this Christmas season,” stated Carl Portz, Administrator at Heritage Health.
