PHS Hosts Volley for Cure

October 16th, 2018

The Pana Panther Volleyball team will host Volley for the Cure on Monday, October 15th at the Pana High School.  The Pana Panthers will host Taylorville.  The FROSH match will begin at 5 pm followed by JV at 6 pm and varsity immediately following at approximately 7 pm.

Admission to the game is free with donations being accepted at the door.  Both teams will be wearing Volley for the Cure pink uniforms and the crowd is being asked to wear pink that night to show support for breast cancer awareness.  Survivors of cancer may stand to be recognized just before the National Anthem is played.

Pana has hosted Volley for the Cure since 2007.  All proceeds from admission and the sale of volley for the cure t-shirts will be donated to the Pana Community Hospital Foundation to support the Breast Care programs at Pana Community Hospital.
