PCH Initiates Employee Testing

Pana Community Hospital has reported 2 positive cases of COVID-19; these cases are hospital employees. Contact tracing is being conducted to determine where the employees may have been exposed to individuals for transmission to have occurred. If you were recently at the facility, through contact tracing it will be determined if you have a risk of exposure and will be notified. If you are not contacted, you were not determined to be at risk per IDPH protocols.
Pana Community Hospital is initiating precautionary COVID-19 testing of all hospital employees. Pana Community Hospital is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Pana, Illinois and employs 271 full time and part-time staff.
The hospital is fully functional and open for walk-in and emergency traffic needs of the community. However, no visitors are allowed at this time. Elective procedures are also being re-scheduled and LiveWell Fitness has suspended services for two weeks. For updated information visit www.panahospital.com. Pana Community Hospital reports all required COVID-19 information directly to the Christian County Health Department which is then relayed to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
