PCH Announces Joint Replacement Program

Pana Community Hospital is excited to announce a new collaboration with the Decatur Orthopedic Center, Dr. Jacob Sams and Dr. Donald Sullivan. This new collaboration will bring a joint replacement program to Pana Community Hospital. The Decatur Orthopedic Center, Dr. Sams, and Dr. Sullivan have been providing high quality orthopedic services to both the Decatur and Monticello communities for over 7 years and wanted to expand these services to Pana and the surrounding communities.

We completed a brand new OR suite as part of our building project in anticipation of brining a joint replacement program to Pana and the surrounding communities”, stated Trina Casner, PCH President and CEO. “I look forward to working with Dr. Sams and Dr. Sullivan to build an orthopedic service exactly like those available in the larger cities.”

The teams at PCH and Decatur Orthopedic Center are working hard to get this service set-up and expect to be able to announce the first clinic dates soon.
