Fundraising Reaches Over $700,000

On November 20, 2018, members of the Capital Campaign Steering Committee gathered to add an additional $100,000 mark to the PCH Building Project fundraising sign.  The sign, mounted on the front of the hospital, depicts the progress of the fundraising efforts of the PCH Foundation’s $1.5 million pledge towards the $20.1 million project.  To date, over $710,000 has been raised through various fundraisers, activities and pledges. 

The Pana Community Hospital Foundation Board of Directors has designated the 2018 Year-end Gift Appeal to be directed towards the PCH Building Project.  Phase I of the project is near completion and will be ready for IDPH inspection by the end of the year.  Phase I includes a three-story Patient Services addition at the back of the hospital creating additional space for a new surgical suite, laboratory, diagnostic imaging, cardiopulmonary, materials management and nutritional services departments. Soon, construction on Phase II of the project will start, creating space for an urgent care, improving access to the building, and providing a modern waiting area with private registration offices.  Phase II will begin in the new year and is expected to take 6 months to complete.
