Fundraising Reaches $1.3 Million
December 24th, 2019
Members of the Capital Campaign Steering Committee gathered to celebrate as they added the $1.3 million dollar mark to the PCH Building Project fundraising sign! The sign depicts the progress of the fundraising efforts of the PCH Foundation’s $1.5 million pledge towards the $20.3 million project. The fundraising total has now surpassed $1,385,000 through various fundraisers, activities and pledges.
This announcement comes just ahead of the 2019 year end appeal, which will be the final fundraiser for the project. The Pana Community Hospital Foundation Board of Directors has designated the 2019 Year-end Gift Appeal to the PCH Building Project. Kim Pollman Executive Director of the Foundation stated: “Our goal of $1.5 million is now in sight. We look forward to the final push to reach our goal by year’s end!”
Phase II of the building project is nearing completion as crews work hard to have the addition ready for an Open House Celebration being planned for Thursday, December 12th. The Open House will be from 4:30-6:00 pm with a short program and ribbon cutting at 4:30pm. Guests will be able to view the front addition or request a tour of Phase I of the project. Refreshments will be served at the open house with a Ribbon Cutting. The new addition includes a convenient handicap accessible entrance, new reception area, private registration offices, renovated gift shop and FastCare, an urgent care service.
Anyone wishing to donate to the campaign may contact Kim Pollman at 217-562-6340, send donations to the PCH Foundation office or conveniently donate online at give.panahospital.com.
