“I’m so pleased to welcome Trina to the IHA Board. Due to her understanding of the challenges and issues impacting Illinois hospitals, particularly those in rural communities, she will bring an important perspective as the Board makes decisions that will guide healthcare policy in the coming year,” said A.J. Wilhelmi, IHA President and CEO.

“I am honored to serve on the IHA Board of Trustees and look forward to engaging with hospital leaders from across the state to advance sound health policy that will strengthen Illinois healthcare at this critical time,” said Casner.  “The challenges facing hospitals, especially in rural Illinois, are significant.  But we are up to the challenge and deeply committed to fulfilling our mission of caring for our patients and communities in their time of need.”

In 2012, Casner was promoted to President and CEO of Pana Community Hospital, having joined Pana Community Hospital in 2001 as Chief Financial Officer.
